Teleri Hughes is a young new author from Llanrwst. In her work ‘Ganol Nunlla’, Teleri has succeeded in creating a world and a cast of funny, quirky, warm, and memorable characters.
Llanrwst is the setting of the series, but the young group of characters at the heart of the story long to be anywhere BUT Llanrwst. They EXIST here, but they want to LIVE somewhere else—somewhere cosmopolitan, cool, somewhere that offers excitement… somewhere like Liverpool!
This work by Teleri is full of engaging situations and snappy dialogue that make audiences laugh out loud.
In this unique digital project, through a series of short vertical episodes for TikTok S4C, we introduce the funny characters Teleri has created to audiences through everyday situations. In the company of Tess and Abdul, the world is a much happier place.

Dylan is a freelance Welsh Tutor, living in Penarth. During one session with a regular client, Chloe, an indiscreet zoomer who’s dating a horny local scaffolder, Teg, Dylan’s anxious lodger, interrupts the lesson. Teg’s timing couldn’t be worse, as Dylan is trying to impress Haf, the cafe owner, and cross over the friend zone barrier she’s put in place.The 10 minute pilot is created and written by Cai Evans, produced by Llyr Morus, made by Mojo Productions and commissioned by Beth Angell as part of a new digital comedy strand by S4C.

If you’re Welsh and on social media there is every chance you would have experienced the comedic world of Tane Rogers-Eirug.
The comedy creator’s short videos have become a big hit online, but now the creative comic has turned his sights to a more ambitious project.
Tane has teamed up with S4C to launch a political comedy pilot called ‘Mission: Cymru’, which imagines a world where Wales has gained independence and follows the staff in the newly established Welsh diplomatic Mission to the United Nations.
The 10 minute pilot is created and co-written with fellow writer and director Jac Ifan Moore. The show was produced by Llyr Morus, made by Mojo Productions and commissioned by Beth Angell as part of a new digital comedy strand by S4C.
Mission: Cymru is partly based on Tane’s real-life experience of working at the United Nations.
Mission: Cymru is a satirical political comedy that follows the misfit team of the fledgling Welsh diplomatic mission to the United Nations. Armed with naïve idealism, the soft power of Welsh cakes and barely-functioning printers, they set out to prove that a tiny, mostly ignored nation can play with the big powers.
Beyond the office based satire, it’s about a young person trying to make the world a better place and a new independent nation trying to find itself in a chaotic and uncertain world.
